Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is commonly referred to from Chicago Illinois started to gain recognition after releasing tracks on YouTube. At first his releases included songs such as The Come Up and NEVER CARED. Then, in the form of the mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD" He made his SoundCloud debut. Gang With Me was his first chart-topping single, followed by Finer Things. The song was written in prison. It became his first hit single, and has amassed millions of views on YouTube and brought him into spotlight. In the following months, major record companies began to show interest in his music.
