Alana and Alyssa
Alana De Garza's beautiful face has made an impression on small screens. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles such as local independent films and world-wide commercials. Her passion for acting quickly grew to perform, despite small roles. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's daytime soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major show was The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time later. She was Marisol Deko, the husband of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father, as well as one brother Cory, who is 10 year younger than her. Her family was a family that was conservative and very religious. Milano's career began at age seven after her child's sitter took her to an audition. Four girls were selected from more than a thousand aspirants. Milano performed in television advertisements and off-Broadway shows including the very first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
